We have just returned from the White Palace Hotel on the Island of Crete, off Greece. The programme is run by Lachish Tours and Moshe Engel of Israel. The rooms are spotless and simplistically decorated. That said there is ample wardrobe space and as befitting a 5 Star hotel all amenities are provided. The food was catered to an exceptional level. Guests: the people who attended the program were fairly diverse, and mostly really nice people. We made a number of new friends during the week and truly enjoyed spending time together. We have been with tour plus before and so we expected excellence. This was mediocre at best. The program was catered to only the Israelis present although many were not Hebrew speaking. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with 4 pools , 2 golf courses ,tennis courts. The hotel staff was courteous and extremely helpful and pleasant. The food was plentiful and top notch with a pool side bbq running everyday until 5 pm and a tea room open until Late at night with sushi and pizza.
