Pesach Program First Impressions
First impressions aren’t everything, but they definitely play a critical role in setting the tone.I’ll never forget one year, upon arrival we were greeted personally by the program owner, with prefilled glasses of wine as we stepped off the bus from the airport. Our luggage was briskly whisked away and taken to our rooms before we even had a chance to look around. That extra touch of subliminal messaging… “your relaxation begins NOW” really set themselves apart. Or that one program that had masseurs in the lobby to relieve the muscle tension from our long flight. Or, that welcome basket in our room filled with everything from toiletries to sand toys to sunscreen, somehow eased away any frustrations with lunch not being quite ready, or the crib not yet rolled in. It leaves an impression that everything is under control (even if it’s not!).
Any program can have their T-shirts and swag all set up, but which programs added the extra touch that left an impression? And what was it?
