I’ve seen some pretty crazy situations on Pesach Programs. Some bar fights, hotel staff strikes, police arrests, damaged property etc.
10 Tips For Staying in A Resort For Pesach for 10 Days
- Treat others as you’d like to be treated
- Tip generously to the staff that’s taking care of you. Before Yom Tov, during Chol Hamoed and after
- Do not leave your belongings on lounge chairs or unrented cabanas if you will be away for more than ONE hour
- Be kind to the Hotel Staff and your Program Operators, they are working very hard to please hundreds of guests
- Be patient! Be patient for your room at check in, be patient when the food is expected to come out
- Remind children to clean up their garbage from their tea room snacks and wrappers (We should be trying to leave a good impression.)
- Avoid damaging the property, treat it with respect
- In the buffet line always use utensils and don’t push in line
- Do not take more than you need at the children’s dinner. There will be more food in an hour
- Don’t sweat the small stuff; prioritize your complaints and pick your battles
