HIGH PRAISE FOR BRUCE BACKMAN’S 2023 PESACH IN THE SOUTHEAST, IN STONE MOUNTAIN, GEORGIA Our family and extended family were fortunate to attend Bruce Backman’s 2023 Pesach in the Southeast, in Stone Mountain, Georgia. We were literally blown away at how wonderful the program was, having never heard of it before this year. In all truth and candor, the success of this Pesach program was attributable to, and centered around, Bruce Backman and his assistant Bassi: their remarkable attention to detail; their around-the-clock care for every guest’s needs; and their extraordinary personalities and interpersonal skills (they are gifted conversationists who remembered every single request) made for an enjoyable Yom Tov. Bruce in particular, came to our table at every single meal, to see how we were doing and to inquire if there was anything he could get for us. I will not go through the checklist of every element of a Pesach program, but I can say that the program was world-class, first rate, well thought out, and well executed down to every detail. The variety of meals, barbeque’s, well-stocked 24/7 tea rooms and open bars were simply outstanding, as everything was delicious and overly abundant. The Minyanim, Chazzanim, Baalei Tefilah, Shiurim, topical presentations, and Chol Hamoed entertainment were all outstanding. The presenters / speakers were informative, inspiring, approachable and personable. Even the warm and friendly client mix was a beautiful cross-section of our national Orthodox Kehilah.
