JEWISH HISTORY:

Belmonte which is a 20 min drive from the hotel shelters a remarkable Jewish history. During the Inquisition, Marranos, forced to convert, clandestinely preserved their Jewish identity. In the 20th century, a revival began, leading to the official recognition of Belmonte’s Jewish heritage. The Beit Eliahu Synagogue and the Jewish Museum now stand as testaments to this resilient community, offering a glimpse into a hidden history that has emerged into the light.

THE KASHRUS:

The highest possible level of kashrus is adhered to. Glatt kosher selected meats, vast assortment of cholov-isroel selected dairy products and fine cheeses, Non Gebrokt and non Kitnies. We are the only pesach hotel that has a whole dedicated kitchen apparatus including all ovens, machinery, appliances, pottery, and all the service and tableware solely for pesach use. We are under the strict supervision of the Chassidic Rabbinate Agudas-Achim of Zurich Switzerland, performed by a staff of 6 qualified mashgichim.

We have always enjoyed an outstanding reputation of courtesy and experience towards our guests and we are excited to provide you this year at our new destination the most wonderful experience you so very much deserve. Our team is formed by experienced and skilled professionals including a team of chefs and pastry bakers. All soft drinks, selected prestigious wines, champagnes and liqueurs are fully complimentary.

AIRPORTS;

Lisbon and Porto are two international airports which have many direct flights from USA each day and are both approx 2 hours and 15 min from the hotel.
