How Passover Programs Can Make You Money
We already know what you’re thinking. Passover programs make people spend money, not the opposite. You’re wrong, if you take advantage of the opportunities that are present on Passover programs and follow through with it, you can make money. Curious how? Keep reading and we’ll let you know.
Networking and creating connections! That is the answer. The amount of people that go to Passover programs each year are astronomical. Even better, all those people are Jews thereby creating a more homey and familiar feeling to strike conversation. Each Pesach program consists of Jewish professionals, entrepreneurs, businessmen and women. Take advantage of the crowd and speak to people. It may seem intimidating, but you’ll only gain from this opportunity. You may think that people are on vacation, and no one wants to speak about money. Although that is true, it all depends how you bring up a conversation and how you speak. For example, at the lunch buffet, you can speak to a man/woman next to you and ask them how they’re liking the food or where they are originally from. Find a common ground between the two of you and the conversation will be smooth sailing from there on out. Better yet, make yourself a mental checklist each day to speak to at least one unfamiliar person during your stay. You can exchange what you both do for your work or regular topics in your field of work. As the conversation goes on and you continue to see each other each day, things will escalate. You may even exchange numbers and boom, a connection is made.
Some programs hold speeches or expos that may focus on business, finance, marketing, and so on. It may sound boring and annoying to attend these classes during vacation, but you never know what will happen. Many speakers, scholars in residence, or influencers host events or keynotes during Passover programs. This is the perfect opportunity to attend these events, find similar ground, and then speak to each of these people. You can mention how you either run your own business or that you’re looking for a job in a particular field. You never know what can happen, Jews like to help each other. If we are so good at playing Jewish Geography, we’ll be amazing at Jewish Networking.
Passover Programs consist of a ten day stay. It’s not a Jewish wedding where you’re small talking for a short amount of time and then head home. You are basically living with these families during Pesach. You see what they wear, what they eat, who they hang out with, how they treat their family and staff. All these actions say a lot about a person and an employer/employee. You have ten days to show yourself and basically create that first impression. If this sounds exhausting and boring to you, that’s okay. If you want to go on vacation and feel like you’re on vacation, this isn’t for you. Whoever is interested in spreading their name and making themselves known amongst 500+ Jews, this blog is for you. Take this opportunity and monetize it.
By taking all this information into account, you can eventually grow your business with exceptional employees that will generate more revenue. Or you can find yourself that dream job that you always wanted. Or you can start a new business venture with a partner that you met on a Passover program. Who knows, the root of your success story can be Pesach programs.
