This year, it was overcrowded with 1,100 people, and there needed to be more seats in the lobby or for their Kiddish. Food brought to the table was slower than in previous years. The food was okay, but there was little of a change. There were no basic Pesach dairy staples like cottage cheese and sour cream, yet five different flavored cream cheeses and many different hard cheeses. You couldn't find plain Greek yogurts or any plain yogurts; all were flavored. There were no milk chocolates, not a single Schmerling chocolate. The potato chips were stale near their expiration date. The wine selection was okay. The selection of Matzo was commendable, and it was a positive aspect of the event. The desserts were fancy and good; they were very sweet desserts.
