Local Area
Highlights
RESPONSIBLE HOSPITALITY
Hotels are operating at 75% of their capacity, with their common areas operating at 50%, including their beach services. Hotel pools, beach clubs, spas, gyms, and restaurants are already available to guests.
Each and every hotel is following strict health and sanitation protocols, established and monitored by local authorities, as well as their own corporate or business protocols.
Sanitary filters are placed, denying access to persons with a body temperature of over 37°C, and/or cough-like symptoms. Hand sanitizer for guest use is given at entrance doors, and the use of masks is mandatory in common areas and when in contact with people that do no belong to the same travel group.
OPEN AND CLEAN BEACHES
Public beaches are open, nevertheless, it is recommended to follow the preventive guidelines for a safe and healthy social coexistence. Flags have been placed at beach entrances: green (free access), and red (access denied).
It is recommended to shower before and after visiting the beach, keep a safe distance of 6 feet (5m) between groups, use hand sanitizer, use masks when entering and exiting the beach (it can be removed once there), groups no larger than 8 people (preferably from the same family). Chairs, loungers and umbrellas must be sanitized before use and it is suggested to not share objects such as floats or balls with other groups.
Additionally, it is suggested to remain there for less than four hours; wear a mask when accessing public toilets along with hand sanitizer to enter and exit. Trash bags for solid waste should be properly closed and left in the trashcans available at the beach; the indications by lifeguards and security staff should be followed and obeyed.
AIRPORT AND MARITIME TERMINAL, KEEPING UP
Health, disinfection, and prevention measures are still being strictly followed at the International Airport of Puerto Vallarta, the maritime terminal, public transport, supermarkets, and government offices.
It is worth emphasizing that The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) gave the Safe Travels Stamp to Puerto Vallarta and the State of Jalisco, in recognition to the strict biosecurity standards and protocols followed.
Tours and recreational activities are normally operating with a maximum capacity of 50%, reason why we recommend to book in advance
The beautiful and iconic Malecon boardwalk is completely open to public.
Plazas, shopping malls, and corridors are open following health protocols, as well as museums, galleries, theaters and sports facilities.
Puerto Vallarta's international airport (PVR) is just 5 minutes from the hotel.
We had a great time!!
I’ve been to all the programs and this is the best. Super chill, easy going, no shvitzers. If you like to complain don’t come, it’s not for you.
This was our second year at the Marriott in Puerto Vallarta. We had a very good time with 20 people in the family including grandchildren. The children’s program was very strong, and all the young mothers were very happy with it. The Hotel layout is very conducive to everyone having a great time, including a pool that is gigantic and poolbar with water stools in the pool as well as very shallow entry area for very small children. The weather was just perfect. They changed chefs this year. and the food improved during the course of the program All the meals were served outdoors the 700 people that go are a majority of Sephardic but the Ashkenazy minyan that we participated in, was very good and was enjoyed very much. The entertainment was very good comedy night, and a singing night and a Mexican night. All the meals were served outdoors, mostly buffet with as much as you could eat. There was also a poolside refreshment area with plenty of soda, drinks, vegetables, and chips The learning was pretty good if you decided to participate. The hotel gym was a A with any apparatus you need and hi-end stationary bicycles
Wonderful and diverse crowd, super organized, variety of food, great location for shopping and trips. Looking forward to returning next year
Wonderful hostess, fabulous location, delicious cuisine are just some of the positives of this Pesach program. They had great entertainment for adults and a fantastic kids program. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. This is our 6th time with them and look forward to returning next year. There was not a thing they would not do for you. Fabulous warm weather, and beautiful sunsets. Great shiurim and daf yomi daily as well. A hidden gem of a program close to LA !
This was my first time on such a pesach program and it truly set the bar really high! The vibe is extremely chill – an interesting mix of people ranging from not religious Jews to more right wing. It’s a beachfront hotel, so participants are often walking through the program in bathing suits and coverups. Hotel has direct access to beach and a beautiful pool. I particularly loved that the program had a toy room for babies (where I spent a lot of time with my 1.5 year old) and a full time staff there who was able to watch the babies for 30 minutes at a time. I can’t speak to the programming for older kids but I heard kids were happy. Not too much programming for adults. No comedians, musicians, or any entertainment geared towards adults at all. But that was never an issue since I was constantly with my family and hanging out by the pool. Food was excellent and plentiful. There was the occasional line (and line cutting) but nothing too alarming. Loved that the food had a Mexican flare to it and truly made me feel like I was getting a Mexican experience even during pesach (think fried plantains, guacamole, fresh fruit…all the time). It was a very fish heavy program. Also had tons of meat – beef, veal and lamb. Program was fairly organized and easy to find everything! Rooms were well labeled. There was minyan every day for ashkenaz and Sephardi. A simple tea room. Amazing breakfast every day. Shabbos and yuntiv had breakfast, kiddush AND breakfast back to back. It was amazing and delicious!
The level of planning and execution is ridiculously high. Everything was so well thought out, and so well organized, that things were taken care of before we realized they needed to be. Every comfort is addressed. The food is out of this world – better than any program we’ve been to. It’s hard to believe it’s pesadik! And we met so many wonderful people – it’s such a diverse and welcoming crowd. Aside from the Pesach aspect, it was also one of the best vacations we’ve been on. Just wonderful in every way, and if it seems like I’m speaking in superlatives – it’s worth every one of them. We’re planning on going back, and bringing friends.
We have gone twice already, great hotel, kids programs, unlimited food selections. Benny is so nice and always has many events setup for the whole family and makes sure the food is always fresh and delicious. I would definitely give them a shot next Pesach.
This is a very awesome program and very organized. They have been in the hotel for 19 years and are familiar with the staff and hotel property. The Seder was set up beautifully. The entertainment was great and my kid had a great time. We will hopefully be returning this year.
Excelente organización
