All I can say is Wow. What a pesach.
Now that I am back from my 10 days with the Chevra, I can sit back and really appreciate what the Kaminetsky family pulled off. I don’t know where to start. Location? Morocco is a beautiful country with so much history and so much to see. Hotel? Was beautiful and perfect for a pesach program. No need for elevators as the hotel was on 3 levels, huge, clean rooms, amenities galore, amazing pools and spacious lobby and outdoor garden. The food? Was amazing. Only American beef, every meal was like a high end restaurant meal serving short ribs, veal, lamb and different cuts of meat and steaks. Amazing kiddushim carving Dino ribs, racks of lamb, prime rib, lamb leg, veal chops, smoked brisket. They literally brought out half the cow and was carving it up. The Daily BBQ’s by the Grillfather who was such a nice guy, we’re amazing. Even after lunch on Chag, he was out there grilling for whoever wanted and not just hot dogs, burgers and chicken but cowboy steaks, skirt steak and rib steaks. The wine was top shelf. Chalk hill, the cave, segal unfiltered, castle grand vin, Barkan superior, Lascombes I felt like royalty and was treated as such. The speakers were top notch and truly inspiring. The entertainment each night of chol hamoed was amazing. Each night was better then the previous. Literally felt like a child playing with my son during the carnival. The Moroccan shuk the second night was amazing. They had camels, horses, monkeys and snake charmers on hotel property. They literally transformed the hotel into the old city shuk of Marrakesh. Eli Schwebel rocked the stage and the the Moroccan Orchastra was a real treat. Blue medley rocked out every night in the lounge till 1am. The crowd was great and the program had an amazing vibe. Made many new lifelong friends. There was a large mix of different types of people. Everyone was friendly and wanted to have a good time. The program organizers really wanted to make sure everyone was happy and everything was taken care of. My son has allergies and Shay made sure the kitchen was on top of it and that he had food that he could eat. Overall, had the best pesach of my life and my family and myself were all very happy that we decided to spend pesach 2022 with the Chevra.
