The hotel was beautiful and new with a gorgeous view and Thailand was amazing but that’s where it ends. Nadav and is Father promised a lot but everyone felt cheated. There was NO one around to answer questions or help out. The owners hid so thag they wouldn’t have to help or keep to their word. There was NOT enough stuff for the Seder.. ex: smurah matzah & wine. Nothing was organized before.. like shabbos elevator, shul, simani haseder, kids program. The food was self serve and always repetitive..the last days of Yomtov it was all clearly leftovers and everyone was pushing and shoving for it. Most people had to fly home 24+ hour flights (with lots of young kids) with zero food and nothing or no where to even buy from!! Can you imagine, no food for a trip home, no Chometz after pesach. It was my first time at a program so I thought this was normal but everyone kept telling us- this is NOt ok.. like the kids program was playing ball the whole time and there was no way to take food for trips.. etc. worst was the customer service. That’s why I want ppl to know.. so nasty

Wonderful Hotel – Adequate Program

Royal Club Kosher Passover in Pattaya Thailand Review: Overall we had a great time in Thailand. I am trying to take any emotion out of this review and just give people the facts about the program so they know for next year. Pros: Hotel was beautiful and the rooms were large and very well appointed. Big shower with rain head and handheld. We had a sea view and the view was spectacular. Hotel staff was very friendly and tried really hard to please everyone. Food on the program tasted good. Crowd was a wonderful mix of people from all over the world with varying degrees of religiosity. For the most part everyone was very friendly and polite. Cons: Passover time is the hottest time of the year in Thailand. The heat was oppressive. The program was very disorganized. They didn’t bring siddurim at all (They said they emailed everyone to bring their own. I couldn’t find anyone that received that email. ) There were no itineraries printed out and placed in the room. The daily itinerary was only on digital boards and on the TV but there was no way to see those on Chag) The first Seder night took over an hour to just get our Seder plate and matza so we could make kiddush and get started. This caused people to start storming the kitchen. Royal Club Kosher had very little staff on sight. The only staff we could find was the owner Aharon. We found him to be less than truthful when asked a direct question. PM me if you want specifics. While the food was tasty it severely lacked variety. Lunch and dinner was mostly the same food every day with little changes. There were no provisions made for people to pack lunches for day trips. The program gave out one small cooler bag per adult but had no plastic bags, containers or even tin foil for people to wrap their food. We were told to just take food from breakfast and throw it in our bags. There was no jam, butter, cream cheese or cheeses at breakfast that I saw. There was no tea room to speak of. There was only a bar in the lobby of the hotel (that was open air so super hot) where you could get soda, water or tea/coffee during the day and they had some fresh fruit there. There was no ready made orange juice on the program. You had to squeeze your own in the morning if you wanted any. There was no alcohol provided. People went and bought their own. The program only had wine. They ran out of Diet Coke often. Other facts: I was told the kids program was very limited. We didn’t travel with any children so I did not experience this myself. There was very little in the way of adult programming.
