PESACH IN THE NORTHEAST BASICS
Good Passover
Having been on many Pesach programs in the past and having what to compare to, Bruce Backmans Pesach in the North East really takes everything up a notch. There is no detail that Bruce hasn’t thought of and included in the program. Bruce is extremely involved and constantly checks in on each family numerous times throughout their stay, to ensure everyone is good and that each family members needs are met (no matter the age). The nicest part is how Bruce continuously seeks to make his program even better and really listens to the requests of his customers as seen by his actions. The food is fantastic and in an over abundance. The entertainment is next level with the set up, quality, and ideas for all age ranges and interests. The kids program is great, organized, safe, and fun! We highly recommend Pesach in the northeast to anyone that is looking for a diverse crowd that feels like family, where different needs (I.e davening/nusach , food etc) are all available, and not too far from home when living in NY!
I’ve been to several programs to compare, and Pesach in the Northeast is incredible by all measures. Everything is done to luxury standards. The dining room is beautiful and wait staff are professional. High quality food is brought to the table professionally plated with presentation you’d expect from a high end restaurant. Evening entertainment is fun and always enjoyable/appropriate for the entire family. The dessert reception following the evening program is accompanied by additional entertainment with themed decor so that each night of chol hamoed feels like a new experience instead of feeling like you’ve been at the same hotel for ages. Aside from all the attention to detail, one of the great features is the type crowd the program repeatedly attracts. There are Jews from all backgrounds, so nobody would end up feeling out of place. Many programs attract mostly to one group or another (yeshivish, chabad or a particular flavor of MO). Those programs could be warm and welcoming to everyone, but invariably some people end up feeling out of place each year (especially if it’s a large, extended family getting together). Pesach in the Northeast does a good job of appealing to everyone.
This is Our 10 Years together with Bruce Backman. This is really One Amazing Journey and Amazing Experience. With Bruce Backman Leadership, this Program getting better and better every year. His Patient, His ability to see and fix the problem, communicate with the people was incredible. From my part, we always do our best at Sushi Department. We always to develop new idea and new dish every year. Quinoa Sushi always one our challenge. And more important we want the people remember only at Pesach at Northeast by Bruce Backman that they eat and enjoying. People whoever involves at the Program always called “Big Family” that’s what I’m felt at the past 10 years together. And With Blessing From Hashem will make one of the Best Pesach Program.
Pesach in the northeast is easily the best pesach program on the east coast! This will be our fourth year attending and we look forward to it all year long. Bruce is incredible at running a smooth and organized program! He’s very hands on and makes sure that everything goes according to plan. The waitstaff is great. Very attentive and incredibly friendly. Shoutout to Sammy, our favorite waiter for the past 2 years! My kids love the camp, which makes Pesach more pleasant for the entire family! The hotel grounds are perfect – there’s space for a nice stroll, there’s a gorgeous playground and very nice indoor & outdoor pools. The atmosphere is very relaxed at this program and the guests are warm and friendly, overall. It’s well located, near Washington DC, for day trips during chol hamoed. If you’d rather not venture out, there’s always plenty happening at the hotel itself. It’s evident that Bruce and his staff find ways to improve and step up their game every year! I very highly recommend this program!
Pasach with Bruce Backman is out of the world, the Food, the entertainment, and activitys, are really outstanding
Amazing food! Great accommodations , super professional and high quality, super family oriented and warm and friendly atmosphere!
Great hotel. Lots of space. Amazing food. Very generous. Great lecturers and entertainment. Bruce really cares about the guest experience.
Pesach in the Northeast is by far the best. The food is outstanding – this is the ultimate foodie program. Each and every meal is to perfection – from amazing breakfast with tuna and lox cut to order to lunch and the daily BQQ to dinners with entree’s that meal in your mouth – to desserts were everything is daily baked. 24 hour coffee room that is a meal in itself and the kids programs that are fun for everyone. Adult classes are all very interesting and the daily evening shows are top notch. I am not sure if anyone can top the attention to every detail at this program and Bruce who is all over the place to check on everything!!!!
We had a wonderful time. -Michelle W. https://www.facebook.com/saved/?cref=53
Yasher koach to Bruce and the entire team that made it happen. They were always running around making sure the program ran as smoothly as possible. The program was incredible. From the speakers to the activities there was always something to do. Even if there was a schedule change they posted it in the front making sure everyone knew. There was food at every second of the day. Tea room was always stocked with water bottles and plenty of nosh. Also, plenty of choices on the menu so you can choose and always a salad bar which was amazing. Highly recommend this program as it is the best one out there.
I just came back from Pesach in the Northeast and it was fabulous! Gorgeous hotel and gracious, lovely staff – both the people at the hotel and the waiters. The Tea Room was ridiculous (always serving ice cream, slurpees, fruit, and candies) in this adorable cafe space that was simply charming. I’m annoyed that I didn’t take any pictures, but the ones on their website are 100% accurate. Interestingly, I found their dairy meals even more delicious than their meat ones (gnocchi in a vodka sauce and omelet bars, hello?!) but my family liked the meat ones better so “ta’am v’rayach…” As a parent of small children, I do wish they would have had the kid-friendly programs begin earlier in the evening, before bedtime. Some of the workshops, classes, and concerts were better than others. All in all, though, the program is at a picturesque hotel (they had this tent with chandeliers and fairy lights), serves a variety of yummy foods, features cute activities for kids (they set up a really nice swing set in the shade), and demonstrates a really impressive attention to detail. Yasher Koach, Pesach in the Northeast! I would go back in a heartbeat!
Great program and very good value for money. Delicious and plentiful food, good hotel and good entertainment.
