This year we have the pleasure to receive the Dayan Elimelech Vanzetta of London
Dayan Elimelech Vanzetta learnt at leading Yeshivos in Israel, where he studied a number of different areas of Halachah, and was ordained by the Supreme Rabbinical Court of Israel as well as important contemporary Halachic Authorities.
His roles as a Community Rabbi, Rosh Kollel, Rabbinical Judge and Secretary General of the Conference of European Rabbis have taken him to different countries in Europe and South America.
The Dayan was the founding Rabbi of Kehilas Ahavas Yisrael (Edgware, UK), is a Senior Lecturer for “United Synagogue in the City”, Director of the Halachic Arbitration and Mediation Centre and the Rabbinical and Halachic authority for the United Synagogue’s Burial Society.
Dayan Vanzetta was previously the Rosh Beth Din and Deputy Chief Rabbi of the Orthodox Jewish Community of Chile.
In addition to his rabbinical studies, Dayan Vanzetta studied Economics, Politics and International Relations at the LSE, Law at the University of Milan (Italy), is an accomplished singer and musician and is fluent in 8 languages.
The Dayan lives in Edgware (UK) with his wife Rebbetzin Rochel and, B”H, their growing young family.
